SAT備考之如何秒殺新SAT閱讀中的尋證題

新SAT中，無論是閱讀，還是文法，甚至是寫作，都會涉及到尋找證據(jù)支持?？梢哉f，學(xué)會從閱讀中快速找到證據(jù)對新SAT拿到至關(guān)重要。

　　這里將為大家科普新SAT考試中的證據(jù)尋找題的解決攻略。

　　一、證據(jù)尋找題究竟是個啥？

　　在新SAT的閱讀和文法部分，總共有18道證據(jù)題，文法部分占了8道。就文法部分而言，我們可以把證據(jù)尋找題總結(jié)為以下三個類型：

　　Type 1:  Setting the Stage（尋找鋪墊）

　　Choose the right piece of evidence to include in the passage to set up the information the author presents later.

　　這類題要求考生選出最能支撐下文信息的證據(jù)。

　　Type 2: Logical Additions （添加邏輯）

　　Decide whether the author should add a given sentence to the passage strengthen the argument (and why or why not) or choose the best sentence to add out of four possibilities.

　　這類考題要求考生決定是否需要添加一個增強文章論點邏輯的句子，或者從給出的四個選項找一個最恰當(dāng)?shù)木渥印?/p>

　　Type 3: Data Descriptions （數(shù)據(jù)描述）

　　Choose the best way to phrase the passage so that it accurately reflects the data provided.

　　選擇最能精確反映原文數(shù)據(jù)的表達。

　　咱們來看幾個栗子：

　　Type 1: Setting the Stage

　　解析：

　　本題就是要考生判斷此處的表達“l(fā)eading the way”是否足以讓上下文的信息flows well。

　　B答案很明顯和上文的信息clean, restore重復(fù)了，跟下文的信息也毫不相關(guān)。C答案說“America Tropical”處于被毀壞的風(fēng)險的之中，下文并沒有提及，只是說它重建之后，變成了旅游勝地。迷惑性的答案是D，說“America Tropical”等待著人們的欣賞，其實下文說得很清楚，它已經(jīng)是一處游覽勝地了。所以，原文的表達“l(fā)eading the way”（）足以銜接下文信息：“America Tropical”是個得到重建成為游覽勝地的mural（壁畫）

　　答案: A

　　Type 2: Logical Additions

　　例1：

　　解析：

　　本題問考生，如果在11這個位置加上這么一句是否會畫蛇添足。那我們就得看看原文的context了。

　　我們先不管合不合適，把這句話代入進去看看，感覺有點唐突，而且原文中心也不突出了。前文已經(jīng)提到過了mural已經(jīng)被看做是一個"powerful work."那么我們就可以把答案的范圍縮小到C和D兩項。C/D到底選哪個呢？到底是重復(fù)了原文的信息還是跟原文的claim有沖突呢？

　　其實，剛才提到過了，加上這么一句就會像C答案說的那樣重復(fù)了上文的信息，也就是畫蛇添足，多此一舉了。D錯在何處？D答案不合適，因為這里只是重復(fù)了，并沒有與原文的claim沖突。

　　答案: C

　　例2：

　　解析：

　　例1是讓考生判斷yes or no，本題讓學(xué)生四選一，從四句話里面挑選一句最能支撐上文的表達。

　　題干是要選一句能夠說明nonorganic food安全性的表達，A答案說organic foods應(yīng)該嚴(yán)格管理，與nonorganic food的安全性無關(guān)，反而可能說明organic foods是安全的。B答案犯了和A答案同樣的錯誤，也可以無情地排除掉。C答案解釋說，在吃nonorganic food之前，消費者其實是可以通過沖洗，剝皮，將風(fēng)險降到，所以是能夠說明nonorganic food的安全性的。D答案說的是pesticides（殺蟲劑）使用的廣泛性，也是不能作為the safety of nonorganic food的證據(jù)的。

　　答案: C

　　Type 3: Data Descriptions

　　解析：

　　看到這個題，小伙伴們首先是不是feel confused，再仔細閱讀一下題干，本題是要讓你從圖中給出的數(shù)據(jù)，并保持原文句子順序不變的情況下，將pop, soda, coke這三種軟飲按照符合map所描述的信息重新代入到原文中去。

　　根據(jù)圖示，我們很容易發(fā)現(xiàn)，在美國中西部聽到的應(yīng)該是pop,而不是原文所說的soda,美國南部使用的是coke，而不是pop，美國東北和西南占主導(dǎo)地位的是soda.答案就只有C了。

　　答案: C

　　二、3個建議破解新SAT語法尋找證據(jù)題

　　Tip #1: Plug in the Answer（代入答案）

　　If you’re given several different options for the appropriate phrase to insert, start reading one or two sentences before the question number shows up in the paragraph.Read through that part of the paragraph in its modified form, and then continue reading for a sentence or two afterward to see if it really makes sense in the flow of the passage (and based on the facts presented in the paragraph).

　　將選項中的答案代入到原文中，根據(jù)上下文看看原文讀起來銜接是否自然，邏輯是否清晰。

　　Tip #2: Find Direct Support（尋找直接證據(jù)）

　　The whole point of these questions is to test your ability to pick out answers that make the most sense based on the information in the passage.For every choice you make, you should be able to find part of the passage (or figure) that directly supports your answer.This is a good way to double-check that you didn’t make any unfounded assumptions (or reading mistakes) to arrive at your answer.

　　判定答案的依據(jù)就是在原文中是否能夠找到直接的證據(jù)來支撐你的判斷。

　　Tip #3: Read Carefully（再仔細閱讀一遍）

　　The Writing section requires strict attention to detail, so try not to rush, and double-check your answers by reading them over again in the context of the passage.Pay attention to the tone and flow of the passage as a whole.There are a few questions where you’ll need to refer to evidence earlier in the passage to confirm your answers, like the question we did in the Logical Additions category. The sentence didn’t make sense because it repeated information that was already stated earlier in the passage.

       確定答案之后，千萬不要急于求成，再代入原文重讀一遍，進行double-check.
